Cold grass crunched under your feet as you make your way to the low bald hill just inside the forest, way from the others. Why are you heading there in the dead of night? Because that is where you and her always met. Also, who am I and who is she? Like hell if I am telling you, the others aren't supposed to know either!

Get back to walking.

The trees parted and grew thinner the closer you got till finally the small hill came into view and..ah,there she is.

Long, black hair hung down across her back where her hands lay holding one another just above her hips.

Why has she never held YOUR hand like that?..

Finally she heard you; a very pale grey ear twitching back in your direction as you came closer. Her head followed and turned to look at you and oh, that smile. That soft, soft comforting smile.her powered blue eyes always  looked like thawing ice. Always on the brim of being matching her smile but never quiet getting there. Her skin was a very pale grey, maybe even light enough to match a Humans. Her horns curled back in a semi circle before stopping at a rounded point. Straight cut bangs stopped right above her round eyes and continued to hang down along the sides of her face. All you could do was stop and stare before being forced out of your thoughts but a chiming chuckle.

"What are you doing? Come on up!" Her voice was so welcoming and cheery, it could crack a smile even on your own lips.

You walked your way up the side of the hill till you stood so very close to her. Her head tilted the way it always had when she was inspecting you, it seems. But, then something happened that she never once did; she started leaning closer to you. Light lips almost hit your own but at the last second darted to your ear.

"Hey, I want to tell you something ~"

"Hmm?" Was the only thing you could reply with before her hands met your chest with a force to send you on your ass and knock your head on the way down the hill.

Once everything stopped spinning and you were able to look up at her, she laughed in satisfaction. Her eyes grew cold now with an amused, venomous smile to match. Did...did she LIKE what she was seeing?! She has never--

"Oh, honey," honey was spit out of her mouth like is was poisoned. " don't act so surprised this happened! What, did you expect I would actually feel red for YOU. Ha! I was just playing a game with my MUTANT toy. But, some things can't last forever~ Some toys you just have to throw out once you get bored with them. "

'W...what?..'

Your mouth begins to open before she cuts you off.

" Did you really ever once believed ANYONE could be red for you? Ever?"

'No. '

She must have seen that look on your face because her menacing grin only grew.

"That's what I thought. That's how is should be. On one will ever really be truly flushed for some red blooded mutant who should have died in the caverns long, long ago."

She came closer now, arms crossed in front of her chest as she stood over you. Spitting her words down at you.

" i would rather watch you DIE a horrible, rightfully slow death then to kiss you, hold you close. I don't need your crappy mutant touch on me! "

You started to crawl on your back, away from her. Get away from here.

"What, are you cowering away now? Running back to your little "group" you call friends to be comforted by their false caring? "

She laughed as you got to your feet and ran like a scared wriggler away from an unknown being.

"Run, you useless fucked up boy! Run!"

'What?...'

"KK wake up! "

'Sollux? But..you're not supposed to be here..you are back at the hive, sleeping. I made sure..'

Suddenly you were shaken  from the comfortable warm of the blankets as a certain scrawny Troll held you by your shoulders. Red eyes flew open to meet the familiar bi- colored ones of the Gemini.

"KK. KK speak to me!"

"W,what? what happened?.."

A coolness was on your cheeks. Your were crying. Why were you crying?..
Oh, now you remember..

Sol let go of you and you pushed yourself to the far back corner of the bed, huddling up in the corner.

" you were whimpering and calling out to Cirria , KK..you only ever when-"

"Shut up"

"But i-"

"SHUT UP! GET OUT OF HERE!"

Ears flat against your head you closed your eyes and curled in on yourself. You waited, and waited. But the golden blooded Troll didnt yet budge.

"Sol.." Gog, you sound so damn path-

" yeah, yeah. I know. I'm going."

Finally, he got up and left, leaving you to sit in the dark room alone.
